At Bluebarn Studios we have invested heavily in high quality outboard and software to ensure we are are one of the best equipped studios in Cambridgeshire and beyond. A lot of emphasis has been concentrated on creating the perfect environment for recording bands live so that band members have good visibility of one another whilst playing at the same time as complete separation of the audio spill. We also have an acoustically treated booth suitable for vocals and small instruments and a guitar amp booth so the volume can be cranked high.

We have industry leading equipment in all the key recording areas including Focal monitors, pre-amps from Neve. Chandler, UA etc and Coles, AKG, Neuman and Brauner high quality microphones to help us to achieve the best possible results. We also have a fab range of classic new and vintage amps and keyboards.

Using a DAW and a host of high-end plus ins from UAD, Soundtoys, etc we are able to record high fidelity audio that stands out. We have a Soundcraft Ghost and 28 different outboard preamps from Great River and Chandler etc which enable us to configure a variety of audio sources. Whether we are recording a band, live piano, solo artists, ensembles, guitars, drums or voice overs we make sure capture highest quality audio with our recording chain.
