Welcome to Bluebarn Studios, a recording and rehearsal studio located in the heart of the Cambridgeshire countryside close to Cambridge and Ely. Having spent many years in the music industry, the owners, Barbara Stretch and Chris Taylor, aim to provide a quiet, low key, comfortable and very inspiring environment to work in. The studio offers over 700 sq ft of live room space, has a smaller vocal area and control room large enough for overdubs. Extremely high-end industry standard recording equipment can be found throughout including Neve, Neumann, Focal, Coles, and Urei with leading plug ins including UAD and Neve.
Whether you are looking to record a demo, professionally produced album/EP /single, or commission a commercial project, we have the expertise and experience to make your project sound great – and all at an affordable price! We provide a professional creative recording and rehearsal space for individual musicians, bands, producers, agencies and record labels. From rock to classical we have the space and equipment to get the best out of any Bluebarn session. Our space is also being regularly used by bands making videos and we can even provide live recording feeds to capture intimate sessions.
